Cadillac SLS?

I just saw this in Autoweek and figured I'd post it but here's what they said.

If you want to buy the all new Cadillac SLS - a stretched version of the STS sport sedan - there's only one catch: You have to live in China. Caddy introduced the SLS at the recent Beijing auto show, but has no plans to sell the car in non-Chinese markets. Want a Cadillac closer to home? I think it's BS that they could offer this car in China but not here in the US. Why does it seem that domestic car companies offer the nice vehicles else where but here in their own country ie., BLS and not the SLS

The SLS is merely a LWB more comfort-biased STS isn't it? I'd have said the STS is probably the superior car so I don't think the US is missing out. I imagine the SLS would conflict with the DTS on the US market.
