Look on the driver's door sticker or at the sticker under the spare tire cover for the paint code. Crimson Pearl, a 3-layer paint process, $650 option, was for later Seville/Deville manufacture, maybe post-'98, and carries a code of WA379E, which does not exist for '96. It is a bitch to touch up or refinish. Google for paint, automotive, or something close.

BC/CC is a Basecoat/Clearcoat identifier, so it's at least a 2-part process. |

Crimson pearl is (as mentioned) a tri-coat (base, tint, clear) pearl escent red. Not sure what year it became available, bit it is definitely different than Garnet Red. | | Cadillac Discussion Tools | | |
