I do wish there are pics in the FPR writeup thread.
I started a thread which had pics of my then unknown FPR. You can check them if it helps. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...y-95-eldo.html (What are these parts on my 95 Eldo?) |

The only difference is the 99 has a plastic/nylon fuel rail. As you can see the FPR is in the SAME location. |

Why do the pictures show the PCV line ABOVE the plug wires????????? A good way to break it when installing the cover... That PCV line should rest on the molded groves in the intake... Not the plug wires..
And YES, I did COMPLETELY remove the entire PCV line when I did the wires and plugs last weekend.. (To prevent breakage). I also went thru the trouble to reinstall it correctly before I finished.... |

Look again, the same grooves are on the other side of the manifold for the front bank. And I posted 2 different pics, a 98 and my 95. Are they both wrong?..... NO, they aren't. Now, go back and fix your's.

But the cover would not fit right. So I remembered that my wires were on top on the PCV hose to begin with... So I fixed it back and the cover slid right into place........... BTW those groves are too BIG for the injector harness and just the right size for the PCV hose??? |

Trust me, I've been an ASE certified technician for over 25 years. I got my Eldo with 50K miles, everything was original & thats how it was. I took it for the fuel rail recall & the Caddy tech also put it back like that. Nothing wrong with putting the line under the wires, however my cover fits fine the way it is. |
