Another heating problem...
I just have a simple quick question about my 94 eldo heat. Why can I not get it to blow at my face? No matter what setting ( econ, defrost, auto) it will blast at my feet. Its cold up here in Mass in the morning and my hands hurt. It has worked in the past towards my face, but cannot figure it out recently.
Check the vacuum lines. Maybe one disconnected to one of the air distribution doors. Any DTCs?
On second thought a disconnected vacuum line would default to defrost so forget that idea. Maybe a stuck door, broken or disconnected actuator rod.
^^ Nope...its our interor setup. Unlike the newer ones where you could choose the mode for temperatures, ours automatically directs heat to the "logical" places.
I set it on windshield defogger to help warm my face.
Here is a pic...mine too is lacking a "Mode" button that our SLS has.
Ranger, I was so quick with this because I curse everytime I am freezing in my car! To me Devilles were always different in design vs years compared to the Seville/Eldorado...all good though cause I really like older Devilles now too!
I am pretty sure after 96, the Sevilles and Eldorados had a mode adjustment.
