Hey Mountie you have a brilliant car | They are made by the company that options the Benz & BMW wheels.
Also, after buying the car ( remember I replaced the North* myself making everything from the firewall forward new& upgraded everything on the engine from the rear main seal, out )
Anyway, after removing the engine, I found that the transmission was only 4 months driving-time old, and that the factory had to repaint the entire car due to delivery damage, explaining why the black paint polished out so nice! |

If not.. I am reading you post incorrectly. |

Ok I admit I'm not exactly clear on what we're referring to.
This is what I do know: - The only zebrano wood leaving the assembly plant, were the door strips, the dashboard, the console, and the shifter, and the steering wheel (the latter two as options).
I don't doubt that the dealers took that a step further and added more wood atop the Bose radio and climate controls. But dealers have access to a lot of aftermarket things that they install such as the Vogue tires, and wheels (which are not GM) and the little carriage tops, gold trim, etc.
I don't think any of that is factory. I mean yeah obviously "some" factory but not a GM plant (although possibly a customization division, but I doubt that). Dealer installed, yes... I believe it. |

I have pieces around the headlamp switch and on all 4 door controls and ash trays. Identical to the GM ones.
Anyone else have this trim? Perhaps a poll? |

Elby your right because the dealer will sell you a gold package and if it is already on the car it's already on the invoice as a gold package. Some dealerships get people to come in and plate there emblems so they jack up the prices on the caddy's |
