There was a recent thread on it. If you have chrome rims, with the gray paint accenting it, you can strip the paint with graffiti remover. |

There is also pictures of someones car (silver) who actually did the procedure and it looks pretty good. |

I've done it to my rims too. It looks nice if you got chrome rims and want em more shiney. I highly suggest it, but read up how to do it. |

The coating between the spokes is there to protect the chrome from peeling after it has met its natural enemy, brake dust.
If you remove the coating you must be meticulous about cleaning your rims in order to keep the chrome from peeling.

This is true. However it's not as easy for chrome to peel as you might think. After all, it is basically fused with the alloy. Besides, with a ceramic pad, it makes it even better!  However, I do still clean them after a weeks worth of work, sometimes twice a week. |

Well I said in the other thread that I used the graffiti remover, here are the pictures. Unfortunately the weather is bad here (like usual) and it's a little dark. Pictures taken on a phone too.   |
