Torque strut (dogbone)

How much flex should it have? The bushings in the one on my Eldo seem very soft and the strut is easy to twist a bit. I get quite a bit of rise if I power brake it. I don't see any cracks around the front hydraulic mount.

Replaced the torque strut (dogbone). Original one was pretty "squishy". No oil apparent so the cause of the deterioration remains unknown other than to suspect the quality of the original part. Less engine movement when testing by power braking but it seems the front mount also will have to be replaced sooner rather than later.
