    Help! Emergency Brake Stuck On

    1994 STS

I had the car on jack stands with the emergency brake on for engine removal.

The engine, battery, PCM, etc. is out of the car.

Today I wanted to push it out of the garage to clean the engine bay but the emergency brake it stuck on.

Any guess' as to how to release it?

the vacuum pump/hydraulic thingy that makes it pop out might have gone bad...that's what happened to mine. They quoted $250 for a replacement pump. I just use the top of my foot to pull it out.
