Blower Motor Noise & Trans

Remove this ad
Well I am yet again having issues with my 00'. Bit of a weird one. Had the blower motor replaced a little over a year ago. Last summer I noticed when the AC is on and I accelerate I get a rattling sound coming from the front. It will go away when I get to speed and RMP's are low. This does not happen with heat on. So it's either a heat related rattle or AC-related. Do remember my service advisor saying it was the blower going bad but warranty declined replacement because it still worked. So I'd like to get to it and make sure all is well. Have service manuals and I would like to say they are hard as hell to follow. Keeps leading me to different sections that I cannot find to get to the motor. Any one with some knowledge with blower motors? Also my trans is acting up again. Only current code when it's not working right is PCM P0502, speed sensor (had these damned things replaced already). When I clear the codes it runs fine. Strange though, I had starting issued and the car died on me when I had bad speed sensors. But it shows the symptoms when I trans crapped out. No speedo and shifts were late and ROUGH. Will be giving the trans shop a call tomorrow because it's under warranty still. Last time I was having problems like this they said it was some sort of connector coming loose.

Thanks
MacK
