97 SLS a/c problem, I need a wiring diagram

I have a 97 SLS and the A/C compressor went out..

I got a new one.. replaced the condensor, compressor, receiver/dryer, orfice tube...

Then I charged it up... it ran good for about two mins...

(I used a jumper wire to jump across the #3 and #5 terms on the A/C relay under the hood to fill it... It still blows cold that way but will not turn on the compressor when I put the relay back in.. I replaced the relay.. no help.
I no longer have the low ref. warning.. and the a/c on the temp control cluster stays on like there is no problem.. the car has no codes...) I was wondering if I blew some unknown fuse etc??? by jumping the wires... I jumped the wrong one the first time.. but I didn't notice a problem untill I
put the relay back in and tried to run it... I have checked the fuse and the relay under the hood.. Is there anymore??? does anyone have a wiring diagram for the A/C on my car???)

There is a diode on the compressor somewhere. I think mtflight dealt with it once. See what he has to say.

I checked the diode, It is fine..

I did find the post you were refering to though.. very good information.. although I could'nt read the pic of the wiring diagram very well.
If someone has a better copy of it that would be great...
I am at the end of my rope here,... if anyone has any sugestions please post... Thanks,

Have you actually cleared the AC code or disco'd the battery? If not do it.

Yes I did both of those right after I changed the compressor and several times since.. It has no code showing now.. it looks like it should be working ... just not kicking on the clutch..

Under-hood fuses are not the only ones.

There's a potfull or two elsewheres.

You weren't crystal clear on clearing the code so I had to check.

Do you have the FSM? I think it's going to come down to checking voltages to find out why it's not coming on. Did you try swapping that relay yet?
