1985 eldo climate control ??? help

My 85 eldo is acting really wierd. My a/c is not working properly, when i run a diagonostic and try and activate the compressor via the outside temp button nothing happens. (there is proper freon in the system) and the other day both the climate control cluster and mpg read out filckered then went out and then came back. do i need an ecm a new contol or what ???

I had an 82 and 85 Eldo that did the same thing . They would just wack out for a little while then It would be all right. Pick some new ones up at the bone yard just in case .

On a car that old, I'd check all the grounds.

I would ck the multi pin connectors on the control head for a pin not fully seated, Also I would apply dielectric grease to the connector before re inserting into control head. Same for MPG read out display head.
