"Knock on wood", my STS's tailights are fine. No condensation at all.

All you have to do to get rid of the problem is take the tail light out and drill a small hole in the bottom to let the trapped moisture out and the dry air in! Problem solved....I've done a few and it works like a charm!

I need to print that on a business card, and start putting it on those cars.

~edit~ However...the more I think aboot it, the more I don't like the answer. I am no mechanical guru by any means, but it seems to me that there would be a reason that auto manufacturers aren't doing that already on their cars. I can't tell you the reason for them being sealed...but I can't see that having a hole in the tail light is actually good for the car itself...

Haven't had this problem myself, but I have seen many STSs/SLSs with the condensation problem. How can this be fixed if the problem does occur?

It doesn't hurt the car and there should be a vent hole in there anyway to let condensation out just drill the hole towards the body side of the light to keep it concealed from view.

I was driving behind one about a week ago and it had not only a little condensation, but it was almost half way full of water!

Maybe they should drill a hole on the OUTside before the lights drown!
