 Faulty rubber door seals on 2000 STS? Dusty interior!
I have owned my 2000 STS for about 9 months, currently has 85,000 miles on it. I drive on about 20 miles of gravel roads per week. I'm normally the only passenger in the car, so when I looked in the back seat today I was suprised to find LOTS and LOTS of dust on the outter edges of the rear set (the sides that brush up against the doors), all over the plastic piece where the carpet meets the bottom of the door frame, and all over the floor carpeting. It's as though the rear wheels have been kicking up gravel dust into the back seat. It must be squeezing in past the rubber door seals, as they are really dusty too, but they still look OK.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Or anything related to bad rubber door seals? |
