Would you drive a 90 seville 1100 miles?

One of my lady friends from TX moved to Vegas and I met another lady on here who lives in Vegas dealing poker..
They both say I could stay with them and they won't try anything.

So I'd like to get away for awhile play some poker and MAYBE even meet George Maloof,
Would you fly or drive the Cad??
    It's a 1990 Seville with *around* 130k on it...
Plane ticket costs $300 gas costs around $175

Keep in mind that I don't drive fast any more I go about 80 on the highway so it'll be a long trip..
but I love driving this car.

If she is in good shape why not? My '92 Seville has 113k on her and I'd trust the car to go anywhere.

I'd drive. You don't think 80mph is fast? LOL I thought you said you drive 55 now in your other post. Oh well, if you go 80mph you'll make good time...

Well see I have to make exceptions for long trips
But I don't go anywhere near fast as I use to,
I only would drive so fast back then because I was making good money

Yea she aint in bad shape at all,
I just was thinking even the price of gas + the price of a speeding ticket is still right in line with the cost of a plane ticket,

It is those wonderful middle of nowhere breakdowns I hate.. they always, of course, cost five times as much as they would if you were home when they happened

Fred, if I recall correctly, your Seville has warranted about 100 threads due to problems you've been having with it. I'd cancell the trip or just fly.

Re: Would you drive a 90 seville 1100 miles?

Well if your '90 Seville is in the condition that my '92 Sedan deVille is with 119k on it, I'd gladly drive. Flying is boring, driving is really fun.

I hear ya but plane delays are another thing. I've spent many a night in a city I should never hve been in. If I'd driven I would have been there by now!

I'm not gonna say you should or should not drive it man. You know the car better than we do, you should be telling us if its gonna make it or not. I'll just bet on the side after you leave.
