Whenever i floor my 98 sls (97K) my check engine light comes on. Lately i have noticed some slight hesitation when i drive from a complete stop. Also the idle seems kinda rough. I have changed the plugs and wires a few months back ,so i checked the codes and here is what i got.
P1599 - Engine Stall or Near Stall Detected
P0315 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0107 - Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
C1737 - Exhaust Solenoid Valve Short to Battery
I was just wondering what my next step should be to diagnose the problem.

P1599 - The diagnostic test checks for an engine stall or near stall and sets DTC P1599 if a stall condition is detected. A partial start where engine RPM exceeds 400 RPM and the engine does not start, will also cause DTC P1599 to set. This DTC is designed to capture snapshot data of the stall condition.
P0315 - that is referring to your rear bank O2 sensor if i am interpretting my manual correctly. maybe it just needs to be replaced.
P0107 - The Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor is a sensor that changes resistance based upon manifold vacuum. The PCM provides a 5 volt reference and ground. The MAP sensor signal varies between ground and 5 volts as manifold vacuum varies. As MAP decreases, voltage decreases (low engine load, high vacuum). As MAP increases, voltage increases (high engine load, low vacuum). The PCM uses the MAP sensor values as an indicator of engine load. A short to ground or open condition would cause the MAP sensor signal to go low, setting DTC P0107.
C1737 - The ALC exhaust solenoid valve is controlled (switched ON or OFF) by the CVRSS module. The control module provides a low-side drive (switched to ground) whenever exhaust activity is required and during a head-relief sequence. The head-relief sequence occurs at compressor start-up. This drive output from the CVRSS module is also continually monitored to determine if the voltage level agrees with the commanded state.
what all that means i have no idea. i'll let the more experienced chime in.
