    Please Help Me Make A Decision

    Hi I Have A Great Chance I Think To Trade My 1997 Cadillac Catera Sedan With 97800 Miles For A 1994 Cadillac Seville Sls With 128100 Miles The Catera Has Been Nothing But Trouble Since Ive Bought It And The Dealer Is Going To Give Me $500.00 Boot On The Trade So Is This A Good Or Bad Choice I Now Both Owners Of The Seville Both Owners Were Over 60 And Know Its Been Well Cared For And Not Been Dogged Its Great I Ran The Codes And There Are No Faults The Only Thing Is Is That The Ideling Motor Clicks For About 6 Seconds After I Shut The Car Off I Dont Mind It But Will It Hurt The Car And Also I Know People Say Eventually These Engines Will Develop A Oil Leak This One Hasnt Yet But Wanna Make Sure If It Does Will The Leak Hurt The Car If I Make Sure The Oil Level Is At The Appropriate Level Every Time I Drive It Or Will The Leak Eventually Hurt The Car , Or Do All The Cars Even Devolep The Leak Thanks Any Help Will Be Greatly Appriciated

    The clicking when shut down is probably a failing ISC (idle speed control) motor. Cheap easy fix.

    If it is not leaking oil yet, it probably won't. If it does develope a leak, it will be nothing more than a niusance and won't hurt anything.

    $500 on your trade for the Catera!? That's not fair. I got $350 for my 88 Buick Century. I'd insist on at least $1,000 for your Catera.

    im kinda confused however i believe hes trading his Catera for the SLS + $500. I could be wrong though.

    There Giving Me $500.00 Cash Plus The New Sls So Ill Walk Away Wth Money In My Pocket Plus A New Car Is This A Good Deal

    If you have considered it then it seems that you probably want to do it. I would go for it also. My 98 SLS is great, best ride I have ever owned.
