The Mark IV is my dream car! I love pretty much everything about it, except for the fuel "economy" and the fact they rust up bad, but neither of those really matter, because when I get one, its gonna be a summer/project car, and it aint gonna get driven in the winter! I would love to find a triple white '72 with leather, and I would also love to get a '76 Bill Blass edition, but I would take any year if it was in good condition and it had a nice color combo. What are they like to drive? Is it really as big of a boat as you would assume?

I plan on buying one and not keeping it stock
Ford Racing makes a crate 462 cid V8 that will fit in this car, it makes 525hp and I figure with that kind of power, it will run 13.2's even with its 4900lb curb weight!

Thumbs up Re: Some pics of my 1970 Eldo

The pictures aren't coming up for me, but I'll bet the thing is gorgeous. The '67-'70 Eldorados are some of the all-time great looking Cadillacs.

Re: Some pics of my 1970 Eldo

When I was a sophomore, I used to tell everyone I had a '70 Eldorado I had purchased from Arizona and drove up to Minnesota. I used to tell stories about beating Eclipses in 100+ mph races in the Nevada desert

Thats back when I thought it would run a 14.5 1/4 mile because it had 400hp and 550 lb/ft gross

I was much more naive and life was different back then...

Can't see the pics but I have a '70 eldo too. It's a project but it runs & drives plus it'll blow the tires off the front wheels.
