    Do I have to add oil after A/C hose R&R?

    Hello,
    I just replaced the high pressure discharge side hose (from compressor to condenser) on my 2000 Seville SLS. The system had leaked down completely. How do I know how much oil I should replace if any? I have the vacuum pump to clear the system, but want to make sure I have enough oil in it! Thanks in advance for your help!

    along with the freon leak -
    was oil also leaking from the bad hose?

    how much oil was in the hose that you replaced?

    add the same amount back to the system -

    Chances are you don't need to add any. Unless you have a catastrophic depressurization, oil leakage will be minimal.
