You can use the same username on as many devices as you'd like.

You fill the system either from empty by weight, or use a quality gauge set, and fill it by pressure.

    =======================

The low side is running at around 78 the high is about 100 at idle.
    can't be -

    ---------------

pressures are relative to ambient temp and humidity -

in a PERFECT working system -

    assume:
    80 to 85* ambient -
    50% humidity -
    high idle speed - 1500 rpm -
    select 60* inside temp -
    select center vents -
select a medium blower speed -

center vent duct temp should be 39* to 42* -
low pressure should be ~40 psi to 45 psi -
high pressure should be ~175 psi to 200 psi -

After running for at least 45 mins or longer I shut off the engine for 10 min and had to hot wire the clutch to get it to kick in...

    ----------

With it hot wired @1500 rpm low was between 38 and 45. High wasn't much over 100. Still blowing hot air (even when not hot wired)

the AC system has various switches built in -
some are designed to protect the system -
some are designed for optimum operation -

you should NEVER have to jump anything -
to force the compressor to run -

    have you checked for codes?
not simple messages on the DIC -
actual DTC'c- Diagnostic Trouble Codes -

I posted the CORRECT pressures and procedure on post #18 -

pressures at idle are useless and meaningless -

then you should NOT have to jumper the compressor to run -

    -------------

and for the lean codes -
check the bellows looking thing between the throttle body - and intake plenum -
the "plenum duct" - or "intake coupling" -

they tend to split - in the groove - at the bottom -
run your finger along the groove - you'll probably feel the split -

    Dorman 911010 - includes intake gaskets - $18.46 - with free shipping -

there is a How-To in the TechTips forum -

    ------------------

the other fairly common vacuum leak is the rubber 90* elbow for the PCV hose -

Not sure how you checked the codes, but keep in mind that A/C codes are B (Body) codes, not P (PCM) codes.

The low side is running at around 78 the high is about 100 at idle. 26/105 @ 2k rpm
Low side is too high and high side is too low. Lets start from the beginning. Exactly what work did you perform and why did you do it?

How much refrigerant are you putting in when you are recharging your system from vacuum?

Took it to firestone. They replaced a switch and told me that the compressor is weak. Blowing cooler air now. Going to replace the compressor this weekend and will let you know how it works out.

Btw if you could drop the barbaraq login for me that would be appreciated.
