Frustrated

I have a code of po39 coming up, so i take it to the dealer and it seems like all they do is turn it off . I am very frustrated and have 2 questions (1) does any one know of a good seville mech. in the wpb area and(2) what does a po39 usally mean any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

94 sls has had that code too. there is a chip change to get rid of nusiance code. i have lived with mine for 259,000 mile and no other problems from that. just a nusiance , car runs fine.
