    Washer Fluid Level Low
if the reservoir is full - the float inside must be stuck - or defective -

    Gear Shift lever
    what about it?
    missing?
    stuck?
    out of position?

Thank you & I'll check if the float is stuck inside

I believe the console spells error "gear shift lever" , not sure why , I know the cover around it had been pushed down and was wrinkled and out of the channel , I put it back in the groove and while still crinkled it moves freely w/ the lever

    ----------

PS: where's the float located? I looked inside the draw tube and saw nothing also gave a quick look in the fluid tank as well , I'll free it up if someone can tell me where it is and position

Low Washer Warning on Center Console

The center console on my 87 Eldoradois saying "low washer level" someone posted that it could be a stuck float.

There is no float in the washer tank nor pump motor.

I have the version w/ white plastic tank with 2 openings on top one is the lid to fill the tank ,. the other is the plastic pump motor

    nothing else is present.

The pump has 2 things connected to it one is a hose the other is a connector w/ 2 wires.

If I unplug the connector the warning goes away but of coarse the pump does not work

Can someone tell me a fix for this that will remove the warning while allowing the pump to function?

starting multiple threads about the same subject is a NO-NO -

my guess is that the float is an integral part of the pump - #13 -
or at least it USED to be -
it is possible that someone changed it at some point -

Sorry about multiposts , I thought to delete the first thread and do two seperate threads for each problem but could not figure out how to delete first one.

Thank you for the diagram , the pump unit looks different than the one in the car though it looks orig (perhaps its missing parts as suggested)
