| Re: Gucci It is not uncommon for that material (outside) to fade and be replaced with regular. Quote:
I purchased my Gucci Seville in September 2002 from Sam Dawson whose father Ron used to own the car, but unfortunately passed away, hence it's reason for being for sale.
When I acquired the Seville the rear of the roof had been trimmed in white leather, which was not an original feature, but as the car is over 20 years old the previous vinyl had weathered badly, so i approached Gucci in Sloane Street, London, to see if they could supply me with some genuine Gucci logo fabric so the roof could be retrimmed as original.
The manager of Gucci Suzi Rodgers, Sloane St, had kindly researched into the fabric for me and to my delight she was able to come up with the original vinyl, that it had when the vehicle was new.
I then had the vehicle roof re trimmed by Bernard and Newbury in Leigh on Sea, Essex. The retrim is an excellent job!
The car is now in an immaculate condition, and with the car only having done 37,000 miles, it is kept permantely garaged, with controlled air conditioning, to keep this vehicle in the condition it deserves.
