    96 Eldorado aftermarket stereo?

I was considering picking one up black friday for pretty cheap (A nice JVC)
But, I would like to know how to install it, and what I need to buy with it. (I am 17 Years old, I don't have any experience with this)

I have BOSE System, it's really great sounding (Except for the rippling at high volume and such), would it be recommended to replace all the speakers with even higher quality ones. and put a nice amp? I'm not sure, someone's probably goin to have to school me on this.

Thanks a bunch guys, you've been great help!

Know that your existing HU is part of the car's serial data bus and Theftlock systems. You must know exactly what you're doing or the electrical problems and no-start occasions will drive you crazy.

Study a LOT of threads down in Discussions, Item Specific: Audio, Video, Security. Talk to a GOOD local install shop.

(Either you're 17 or your profile is incorrect.)

You tinker with the Bose system you're opening a box of electrical Gremlins, ask me how i know.

Do the following: and be done with it (except the sub part)

They must have changed the Bose system specs as they progressed as my 2001 Bose setup was .7 Ohms, 2 Ohms is much easier to deal with.

Yeah, I heard about the no-start + electrical issues that can occur (My pops friend has a aftermarket on his 98 deville, his alarm goes off everytime his car door closes, it's a huge mess lol)

I'll study, I'm determined to do this, as the factory setup is sounding terrible.

I'll follow that, infact I'll get the same setup, does it sound a lot better than factory bose? Is it louder, clearer?

Agree. Infinity kappas are what I have in my 98 SS powered off the stock monsoon amp as the stockers were 2 ohm. Sound great.

    How's that?

Exact setup, I actually want to set up the amp (I'll get pro help with it, of course)

    Is that all I need?
Compared to the stock bose, is it louder, with more bass?

    Re: 96 Eldorado aftermarket stereo?

Thats what im running, but my HU is a Pioneer 4400BH, if you choose to keep the stock HU just install a LOC for the amp to push the sub. Removal of the Bose HU is where the gremlins start coming out.

    This will be your friend:

    Thanks a bunch you're a great help.

Does that include a mount for the aftermarket radio? or will I have to buy one seperately?

No, that's just the integration module. The install kit to mount the HU is separate.

    Re: 96 Eldorado aftermarket stereo?

Great, plan to start black friday with a radio

    http://www.walmart.com/ip/JVC-Mobile...d-AUX/24905276

Could I get that instead of the one you have? Will I have to change anything in the items listed that I will purchase?
(Doesn't have to be exactly that, just an example, I plan to get a JVC or Pioneer from walmart black friday. Don't got lot of money more to shell out for a more expensive one)
