    Newbie Here. climate control on m 75 Eldorado.

    Just got my 75 eldo. a week ago. i turned on the heater and nothing happend, the blower will only work when i move handle to defrost (windshield) but will do nothing on the other settings. fuses all good, vaccum line (maybe)? any help is appreciated. thanks

    Been quite a while since had, much less seen one of that vintage, but I don't recall the mode having anything to do with the blower operation.

    That whole system was vacuum operated as I recall (just not the blower).

    Might be the same as a 78 Sedan. It was common for the copper contacts to fail at the dash climate control head. Also the multiwire plug at the climate head will melt and cause a poor or no connection of voltage to the blower rheostat. Only way to know is remove the climate control head and inspect the plug and the copper contacts the lever slides across. Moving the lever to defrost by passes all the climate control sensors and goes to full blower speed and hottest air.
