I have a 2001 Seville SLS that won't start. The problem started out as once maybe every three or so months, when you would turn the key the starter motor would turn, but ridiculously slow. But if I let it sit for awhile, and held the in start position the starter would actually speed up and start the car. Every time after this happened the computer would throw a code p0340: Camshaft position sensor circuit. Well a week ago it started doing the same problem again, but instead of letting it sit for a few minutes and it works, it's sat for a week and all I get is a single "click" and I have the p0340 code again. I've checked the battery, replaced the CPS, and still no luck; still have the same code showing up after I installed the new sensor and cleared the codes. Any ideas on where I need to go, or check out next?
