...I have a plastic sheet from when the sunroof glass broke. That'll have to be my cover for the night. IF I can get it on in the wind by myself.

Go for it, I'm part Irish.

I getting nowhere with the insurance company with the window. I'm going tools an appointment with the glass shop that says they can peel back the roof for $350, take some pictures of the roof, and if it looks any different afterwards, I'll file a regular (non glass) claim and take it where I want.

Took pictures of the roof, Dropped the car off at the glass place at 5:00 so they could store it inside for the night.

I'm sitting here wondering what's going to happen this time... Adhesive spill? hey lose the roof shell? Rabid badgers get inside the car and tear it up? At this point almost nothing would surprise me.

Go ahead, take some guesses. Maybe that way they won't happen...

You should be happy and celebrate MC! A sinkhole opened up, but it wasn't your car which was sucked in!

Oh that's easy to explain though. My car isn't valuable enough for the earth itself to mess with. Just wait until I get something a little more expensive .

MC, Your rabid badger thought - Totaled car without a scratch on the outside.

Try to find the Google of what a grizzly near did to the interior of a parked (doors unlocked) SUV. It ain't pretty.

Ah, here it is - the first 6 pictures in this page ---- https://www.google.com/search?q=griz...w=1366&bih=620

Oh boy, the glass shop just called, and they're telling me the car is done... The guy supposedly didn't get there until 10:00 this morning. Less than 5 hours including the glass replacement? Let's just say I'm not full of confidence...

.....Gaps all around the rear window.

    ----------

The top's bowed below the rear window, the material isn't pulled close enough to the edges of the shell, there's a tear/sliver of fabric near the sunroof opening, and he called around the sunroof so there's now a pool of rain on top of the glass.

    Completely f@$&ing butchered.
