You're on the way right now - best of luck. I hope the exhaust shop that ruined your system has to eat a Sawzall.

Thanks guys. I made my points, he made an ass of himself with several stupid statements to the magistrate. She actually rolled her eyes at him a couple of times.

I'll be getting a letter some time next week with the ruling. I believe he can appeal if he wants .

Oh, one thing he keeps saying is that it's been installed for 4 months and it's "working" so it's fine. The magistrate gives him a smirk and says "Well my husband's a Cadillac man, I'm not so sure about that."

Did you ask her honor whether her husband is a member of CF or not? If he is not, you could introduce CF to her!

Well I won the case. A whopping $497 including $50 in legal fees..... Thanks a lot.

So in a nutshell, I paid $1,162 for a brand new product. This guy put it on, and now 4 of 7 parts are damaged and it's out of warranty. Now I have to pay $715 to get back to where I started - a new, undamaged, warrantied part.

    No, I can't appeal it.

That sucks MC. At least you got a good portion of the money. With your luck lately I'd call it a win.

Kind of covered all of the bases the first time. Plus, still have to get the $497 from them, and they can appeal if they want.

Maybe I'll send him a threatening letter and include this picture. He was sitting in my friends basement, I tried to take a picture, and he moved. Looks posessed:
