    Sagging rear of 90 Seville.

I have a 1990 Seville with a serious sag going on with the back end. When I bought the car i didn't know that sound I was hearing in ther rear was the compressor trying to fill leaking/corroded struts. Needless to say, since the struts were not replaced, that sound stopped soon after. After replacing the rear struts with OEM Monroes, the rear still looks the same. The ELC does not work. Compressor does not come on. Is there a way to bypass the non working compressor with another compressor to raise the back end? Is there a conversion kit that is going to give me comparable ride quality? I haven't been able to find anyone with a kit for 1990 Sevilles. Does anyone have any insight for me on this? I'm done with the rest. Now I'm asking the people that know, live, and love their Caddies.

Get into the Monroe site and find their substitute air-assisted level control shocks. It's a manual kit, with air lines, that you rig into the trunk and use the gas station or a 12 volt plug-in) compressor to set height.

If you want to go back to all-GM, talk to Chris in parts as Rippy Cadillac over there >>>>
Hold onto your credit card - it will NOT be inexpensive.

basscatt is good about digging into the Monroe catalogs for various cars/models.
