    93 Eldorado Cruise Control

My cruise control does work, it just seems to wait until the speed drops 5 mph below the speed I set it at to engage.
Is there a way to "tighten" up the cruise engagement speed?

It shoukd snap into the throttlebody house at a plate( will only fit one way) on the other end, it goes in at a twist lock housing. factory service manual says to make sure the the nylon cord is taught when installing it on that end. It hooks on to a u-hook at that end

    Re: 93 Eldorado Cruise Control

Here ya go, not sure about the 93, but it should be similar to this:

    1. Cruise control cable to cruise controle module cord connector. Important
      • Nylon cord from module must be flat and not twisted.
    1. Seat cable end into module and turn until cable is locked to module.
    2. Cruise control cable to TBI cam and engine bracket.
      • Hold TBI at closed position and engage adjustment lock.
    1. Cruise control cable retainer to left strut tower.
