    What am I in for? 98 STS

    Hello,

    Lately my car has been running with the rpms between 3-4k.

    3 trouble codes- B1341, p4020, c1738.

    Little Power, 158k miles.

    I am nursing her along, I will have money for repairs come tax return time.

    Is there anything I can do to get by until then?

    Codes are meaningless without their definitions.

    Might start with a good TB cleaning.

    "Little Power" might be a clogged CAT.

    I'll bet that code is P 0420 - catalyst system low efficiency.

    That does ring a bell. Got the same one on my daughters '04. However, that would not cause a high idle.

    There is no idle "reset", and no ISC motor/plunger on a '98.

    if there is no emissions in your state you could just punch out the honeycomb inside the converter as a temporary fix
