New 99 SLS owner looking for tips

Hello just got a Seville with a northstar engine needs head gaskets. Been reading up on what I'm going to be getting in too and was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for me on this project and what kind of stud kit I should look into getting.

Go with a stud kit from either Carroll custom Cadillac or Northstar Performance. I'd recommend yanking it out the top. Are you resealing it as well?

Welcome to the Forums! You would be best served by asking your questions in the right Forum, in this case the Seville/Eldorado Forum. I am sure a moderator will be along shortly to move this to that Forum.

Check the Tech Tips forum. There are several HG threads there that should be of help to you and it would be a good idea to have a FSM by Helm Inc. handy (NOT Chiltons or Haynes).

NOTHING you can pour in will do anything but clog the radiator, heater core, and small coolant passages.

Not the studs only, the holes in the head need fixing too.

Please DON'T dump any of that Bar's Leak snake oil into your Northstar...
