Rear Brakes wear but fronts do not 98 Eldorado

98 Eldorado rear brakes shot making noise fronts like new. Replacing rear pads wondering if this is a bleeding issue?

If your brakes need to be bled the pedal will be spongy.

The rears should last twice as long as the fronts.

You might have some fluid contaminants if it hasn't been changed in 2-3 years, or depending on how long you've had the car, might be the victim of two or three front rotor changes and the rear was ok at the time of the front change, and there just now catching up.
