North Star head gsk failure prevent

Been awhile since I have visited due to health.
Have a question for our guy's. Have any of you tried or checked a product "Evans Waterless automobile engine coolant?
The claim is life time, no change of fluid required, also, only requires very low pressure cap, and superior cooling with no oxidation. This would appear to maybe be answer to head gasket failure.
Looking forward to reply's, this may have been covered before, if so, sorry!

If HG's go they go. Nothing can be dome to prevent it. Only thing one can do is prepare for the repair, or make a a decision wether to keep or be rid of the vehicle once it occurs

That stuff sounds like snake oil to me. No changes required also sounds too good to be true and you know what they say about that.

There is no way to prevent HG failure. All you can do is regular cooling system maintenance and pray to the Northstar Gods.

Curious that no automaker uses the stuff. "If it's too good to be true .................."

Also curious that the paranoid Northstar owner always seems to equate coolant type with head gasket failure. Maybe yes, probably no.

5:09 - Went Googling and read some of the reports on the stuff. Hung jury: Some Yes, some No.

You are actually willing to add something to the cooling system and hold it in for "life" when in fact you suppose to do the opposite, change it frequently (like 2 to 3 years).
Same goes with synthetic oil, pay more to keep it longer when what you really want is fresh oil as much as possible.

When you say cooling system maintenance, are you talking about the radiator? And if so, do you mean those summer sales where they drain or flush you system and put in new radiator fluid?

Yes, simply drain and refill the coolant every 2 years. No real need for a flush. Just did my daughters '04 yesterday.
