Another water crossover question (sort of)

    Greets,

In the process of removing the WC I've found two rubber(?) connector hoses running to what I think are the heater pipes. One of them connects to the WC right below the EGR valve. These hoses are green on the outside and red on the inside and only about 2inches long each. Anyone know what this type of hose is called & where I can get more of them?

They are silicone and are used in that location because of the heat. I suspect most auto parts stores should carry it, but I've never had to buy one so I'm not 100% sure.

After having difficulties on finding a place that sells silicone hoses, I just went with regular reinforced hoses. It works fine.

The dealer can get you the silicone hose if they don't stock it.

You can (or at least used to be able to ) buy them from GM cut to length.
