    Another Caddy In The Stable

Found a very nice well optioned '04 SLS for daughter #2. Mileage was a little high, but the car is clean and very well optioned. Need another key. Why do they always come with only one? Also need to make a trip to the mans mall. No owners manual.

Anyone recall if the '04 still has brake wear indicators?

Good looking car Ranger! As far as brake pad sensors go my '04 Deville does not have them so maybe the Seville went the same route for '04 model year?

    Nice find Ranger.

Get that sagging trunk liner fixed so she has a usable trunk light .

Picky, picky - OK - Fix the driver's seat adjustment panel - it's loose. Find out if the yellow tab/cable for manual fuel door release has fallen down behind the LR fender carpet. (It's normally Velcro-stuck to the carpet right next to the left trunk hinge bracket.)

The trunk carpet by the light/trunk lid torsion rods - I laid on my back with 4 wire ties, a sharp knife and strapped mine up - in 2006.

Fuel door release cable is there. It's black.

Yeah, the Grand Am had gremlins and had to go and I got a pretty good deal on it. Too bad I put so much into the Grand Am.

Your Grand Am didn't have gremlins it was just the car being its self.

Very nice find your daughter will be very pleased and love that new found passing power in the Northstar.

Re: Another Caddy In The Stable

Ah so - I did a supposed "2003" SLS brake job and it had sensors - Ranger and I talked about that......... anyway, mine are all wire-tied to the car body - none are in the pads.

Ranger, The mats went out this morning. Be there ?? Tuesday ??, UPS Ground. Letter and scan to follow ..........

Re: Another Caddy In The Stable

the parts catalog isn't known for being super accurate with the years of parts sometimes

i just double checked and it says 1998-2002 (at least for that one part number that i was looking at)

Curious to know why GM got rid of that feature? It comes in handy for those who don't check their pads often
