Hmm, so we have a definite maybe.

As for curb height, I reached in on top of the tire and pulled the air line off the shock to vent it. Got a reading of 28" from the ground to the wheel well. Turned the key on, let the compressor run til it stopped and got a reading of 29 1/2" (with about 1/2 tank of gas). Anyone got a comparison reading.

    ---------------------
    mine sits at 28 1/2" -
I wanted to try to get it to sit lower - here is what I did/found -

the system maintains a minimum of 14 PSI in the air shocks -
and THIS is what controls the total "empty" ride height -

with the air bladders completely empty - mine sits at 28 -

with the compressor connected it bumps it up to 29 -

there IS a slight adjustment at the level switch - I adjusted it to the MAX UP setting -
    that dropped it to 28 1/2 -

I made a connecting rod 1" longer - that didn't help lower the rear at all -

there just isn't any around that 14 PSI minimum -

Exactly what I was looking for Bass. Thank you. I'll look at that adjustment when I get it in the air. That's info I was unaware of.

    ---------------------------
when you look at the switch - there is a 10mm bolt at the center of the lever -
loosen it - then you want to slide the lever so it pushes UP on the connecting rod -

you'll only get 1/4 inch of movement -

but like I said - beyond that small adjustment -
"empty" ride height can't get any lower -

Re: Another Caddy In The Stable

Cool. Thanks again. Based on that 1/4" adjustment the empty ride height should be 28" and that looked perfect to me after I bled the system and it sat empty.

    ---------------------

I too would have been happier at 28 -
but with that 14 PSI minimum in the air shocks -
mine only went down to 28 1/2 - with a full tank of gas -
but an empty trunk and back seat -

Re: Another Caddy In The Stable

Replaced the EOP switch today. Thank God for friends with lifts.

    Bass,
The adjustment on the switch arm worked perfect. I could feel the ass end lower as soon as I turned the key on and now she sits nice and level. Took all the rake out of the rear end.

Drove about 32 miles today, 3 starts/stops. Right now the rear fenderwell height is 28.5" off the garage floor.
