    Help! Fast idle

1993 Eldorado with a 4.9. Car is sailing down the road with high idle and in park it is idling around 2200 to 2300...
Previously the idle was normal then rising to 14 to 1500 sometimes... any suggestions? Idle Speed control? if so is Delco the recommended replacement or is there a better one available.. all part stores around me stock the BSW brand.

    here are the last codes:

    P030 History
    P052 History
    P098 History
    I039 Current
    I052 History

Codes are meaningless without their definitions.

Have you checked for a vacuum leak? Stuck or binding throttle or cable?

This sounds like it may be your throttle position sensor.
