    A/C causing Battery Voltage decrease

    Battery voltage reading on dash decreases drastically at stop lights with A/C on.

    Which vehicle? Put a number value to "drastically".

    Unless your battery and charging system fail to crank the engine, maybe you could monitor something other than Volts.

    95 Eldorado ETC w/New Battery measures 12.8 at terminals with DC volt meter, New alternator measures 14.1 on dash upon start-up. Once A/C activated immediate Battery volt drop to 13.4, will hold till warmed up and driving, then at stop lights in drive, with brake peddle depressed, have had volt drop to 11.9, RPM steady around 700. Voltage increases if shifted to N and/or start to drive.
