    2003 SLS A/C issue

    I have a problem with my A/C. When it is on the passenger side 2 vents blows ice cold air BUT the driver side is blowing air like it is the heater. Any suggestions?

    start with checking for Diagnostic Trouble Codes -

    if you don't know how - go here and read the ENTIRE post -

    if you have any codes - post them here -
    ALONG WITH THEIR DEFINITIONS -

    --------

    to diagnose AC problems -
    you need to connect a quality set of guages -

    then post BOTH the HIGH pressure readings -
    and the LOW pressure readings -

    along with the ambient - outside - air temp -

    and the air discharge temp at the center AC vent -
    with the temp set at 60* and a medium speed fan -

    Is the drivers side "hot" or just warm? Ambient or warm is a sign of low refrigerant. Not quite low enough to set a DTC though.
