New owner of a 1993 Eldorado - Ride control service required?

Just picked up a real nice 93 Eldorado. Digital dash is telling me that the Ride Control needs servicing. Any suggestions? No owners manual came with it... one on the way.

    Thanks-
    John

Study the sticky post just above this one - "How to pull codes" - and find out if your car has the built-in trouble code scanner-reader like later models. Most of the electrical/height/control part of the suspension is monitored, so you may have one or more diagnostic codes stored in the system.

You'll need to bone up on the proper sections of the sticky post - your car diagnostics would be in the OBD-1 series (pre-1996). There is a link in the sticky which takes you to definitions af all the different codes - post all the info here.

    Welcome Aboard !!!

^^^ That and generally suspension parts in these cars are about 10 times (literally) more expensive than what you would expect from previous experience with other cars.
