I advise you post in the Seville section for cars of your model year. This area is frequented by member with 2005 & up RWD & AWD STS. They are very different than your Seville.

Is there a fuse for onstar that you could just pull?

Worth a look, but it is very seldom that you will find a fuse only for one module. The exceptions to this are usually high current devices such as the audio amp, EBCM, etc. Low current draw devices are almost always fused on a circuit with other devices. Pulling the fuse will likely affect other systems in the car.

There should be no reason however, that you can't simply unplug the connectors from the module. In that year vehicle, it will be tied to the Class 2 serial data bus, but there should be no effect on other systems.

Yeah I was thinking that it probably wouldn't be a fuse dedicated to onstar.

Re: New to Forum AND NEEDING HELP DISCONNECTING OLDER ONSTAR IN 2003 SEVILLE STS

Let's move this to the proper (Seville) forum.......... and combine it with your thread from the new model "STS" forum.

Your car is the K-Body Seville Touring Sedan, not the later Sigma-Body "STS".

Please don't shout - there are plenty of helpful members standing by. You might reconsider the wisdom of posting your e-mail in a worldwide public forum - there is a particular breed of internet scum that loves free e-mail addresses.
