Air Conditioner Help - 1999 STS

I have a 99 STS with the typical hot driver's side and cold passenger side issue. That aside, now my passenger side is not colder either. I recently added freon with the dye and found no leaks however my high pressure gauge reads low. The low pressure side is reading about 35. Is my compressor the culprit or should I look elsewhere first? The top bolt on the compressor is tough to get to. Any help will be appreciated.

What is your high side pressure and what was the ambient temperature when tested?

    Have you pulled the DTC's?

lots of additional information is needed -

    like Ranger already suggested -

FIRST - check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes -

if you don't know how - go here and read the ENTIRE post -

    http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...odes-dtcs.html

if you have any codes - post them here -
    ALONG WITH THEIR DEFINITIONS -

    NEXT -
to properly diagnose the AC system - we need -

ambient - outside air temp -

    HIGH pressure reading -

    LOW pressure reading -

center - or coldest - vent temp -
with the AC set to 60* -
fan set to medium speed -
engine at a high idle - around 1500 rpm -

I reconnected the manifold gauges to get an accurate reading. I've got absolutely no pressure in the system. The freon must have leaked out overnight. I pulled the schrader valve and found a small chip or two. That explains why the a/c tube at the valve was cold when I added freon but, the accumulator remained warm. It looks like I need a compressor!

Pull the orifice tube. If the screen is full of debris, the compressor is shot and you will also need to replace the accumulator and condenser as well as flush out all the lines including the evaporator.

The oriface tube has 2 small chips. I will replace the compressor, oriface, accumulator and flush the system.
Because there are only two small chips, can I flush and reuse the condenser?

Only serpentine type (one continuous tube) condensers can be flushed. I don't believe you're is serpentine.

can I flush and reuse the condenser?
the problem is you CAN'T flush the condenser -

you should also add an in-line filter in the liquid line -
    just to be sure -

Okay thanks. I ordered a condenser along with the accumulator, compressor and oriface. I am going to do it right so I only have to do it once!
