Used alum wheel
My car has fac chrome alloys. 7 spoke. Wagon wheels I call them. I have fairly worn tires but 1 is worse cuz my toe is off. Found an identical wheel with 50% tread tire for $40. I can get a used tire for 20 and M&B is 15. Would be nice to have full size spare. Or 5 matching rims. Or buy 4 new tires for $700 and fix my alignment? Anyone here have a full size alloy spare? I think it will fit in trunk?

Re: Used alum wheel
It won't fit in the trunk.
Are your wheels 16" chrome or polished, rounded 7-spoke - or 17" chrome or polished, flat faceted 7-spokes ?
For options, look in the proper sections of www.wheelcollision.com.
A 17" flat spoke CTS 2003 wheel will fit - and they're available in excellent condition for <$200 a set.
Bought 4 of these years ago - $300 shipped in boxes.

Stock 225/16. Not like I have room for extra wheel in garage. Just get new tire

Just found out tonight that I can polish the parts that aren't, like between the spokes - mine are just chrome on the face.
I have all stages of some NuVite II polish that we used when i worked at the airport to do bright work on the leading edges of aircraft. I managed a nice shine in a section just by hand. Can't wait to see what I can do tomorrow / in the morning, with some noisy power tools & stuff...
Was thinking of painting the inside / back / behind of these wheels black. That'd be alright wouldn't it? I don't see how it would mess anything up or cause problems...
