Wow air freshener. My car does the same thing and it started when I started using those air fresheners that clip onto the HVAC vents. And I thought it was from me smoking!

I use those air fresheners as well. No such problem. It probably IS the smoking.

    P.S.
Don't let that stuff leak. It'll eat the paint off the dash panels.

Try using a quality glass cleaner and some newspaper. 1 wiping usually doesn't work wipe left right, then next up and down. Usually 2 or 3 if you smoke maybe more.

I've seen overuse of air fresheners cloud the windows, some protectants as well.

Newspaper works fine, the reason they're suggested is that some of the better paper towels contain setting agents that can cause streaks. I use cheap paper towels and Invisible Glass.

I did mean "should" I read all the time about people using this system like a manual A/C heater. Letting the system work as designed prevents early wear on fan switches, blower motors and related components. And like Ranger I very seldom have windows down.

On my Cadillacs I've always left the climate control on econ unless I wanted AC and rarely adjust anything else. If it's summer and hot out it's usually left in auto.

Well so you will know: I cleaned the window good with Windex and clean towel and it has been a couple days now with no haze returning. Will update if that changes. I just sprayed Armor All on towel and rubbed down the dash and door areas last evening. Haven't checked it out today yet. Will see how she looks in a bit.

Armor All has never given me a problem.
