Really make sure the starter is indeed the culprit, you almost never hear about a started failing in these cars.

    Hey Pete, Fuhgeddaboudit!
No start, no click, 10 min later, perfect start?
Loose starter cable nut. One of mine acted exactly like that.
Seen several others, too. Must be a common NY thing.

The loose note thing I heard about it twice so far, not an actual issue with the starter though.

I have never seen a starter actually failing in these cars, but I have heard of several stories of cars not starting and finding a loose starter wire nut.

    Northstars are weird.

Remember that the large red starter battery cable is hot at all times - 24/7/365.

    Yes, good point.
Disconnect battery before attempting to tighten nut/change starter or you may be doing some serious arc welding.

Re: 2001 STS will not start after car Driving .

    Hello

Thank You Everyone for Your Help.
Yes, I think they Just wanted to Replace the Starter. I Met in the Lowes Parking lot last night a Guy that had a 2005 Deville ,he sad same thing that the starters never go bad.
To check my Key , I might need a new Key.
If it happens again I will take it to Somebody else to look at the Starter Cable. It could be loose.
All Battery Connections were clean and tight. the Battery was lest then a Year old. Checked Battery Voltage and Alternator all in working order.

    Thanks
    Pete
