    stuck in Park

After sitting a while, like overnight, my 97 Seville STS in very difficult to get out of Park. While running errands, it's not that
    bad, but sticky to speak.
I've read where other models need a new brake lite switch....
Any other recs from my brothers ? ? ?

^ That, if you are parking on an incline.
If not, I would say the problem is in the shifter itself.
If the brake switch were bad, it probably wouldn't come out of park at all.
