I cannot find any listing for a 2000 BCB trans. 99, 01, 02 is it? I see some ventures with 3400 and bcb trans. That's ok too?

As long as it's a BCB it will have the correct sprocket/diff setup.
I still recommend fixing yours to avoid double labor for a possible bad used. Your choice.

I am doing labor. I can pull trans. I cannot tear trans apart. My trans has 180k miles and has issues. Is another trans with 130k miles better? Yard says its ok. $200 crapshoot. No shop will tear down my trans and fix what's broke for cheap.

$200. Your own labor. Can't beat that, knock yourself out!

Yep. Pulled trans. It is a 9BCB. Found a 99 venture trans. All info I see says 99 venture only came with 9bcb. But Hollander exchange says gp and venture for 99 will not swap. This trans is private party. Talked to 3 diff yards and they all say no go. Have not looked at trans so I don't know what tag says

    Maybe Venture is AWD?
If not, check tag & mounting holes.

Yard says 99 gp is 1 yr specific. A 2k does not fly according to hollinder. I see ID tag info online and it says 99 venture is bcb only but 2k venture is bcb or brb. Seller has 15 trans and is 99% sure trans is 99venture. I am going to check it out tomorrow

    Found these:

There are also several others that will work. (3.29, 35/35, FLQB, no IMS)

cool. I did come across those charts also. it is a 9bcb. and it is installed now. got about 1hr of bits to finish up tomorrow and than we will see. much smoother job than my Seville. 210lbs vs 295lbs.

Finished. Shifts fine. Got 3rd gear too. Woohoo. Seized brake caliper from over extended piston due to totally worn pads messed up the axle install process. It's always something unplanned to complicate job. Not that removing trans is ever easy. I think a gp trans job is MUCH easier than Seville.
