My 99 STS has just over 100K miles on it. Is there some point when it is recommended to replace the timing chain? The Cadillac maintenance schedule goes up to like 150K miles and doesn't say anything about replacing timing chain. Any help is appreciated.
The Northstar has a set of chain tensioners that eliminate the need to replace the timing chain/gears. Good thing, since doing them is no easy job on a Northstar. I know, I've done them a couple times.
