    Re: a/c problem

You'll get more input up in Seville. Moved.

Likely a vent door actuator problem. Many threads on this. Study the sticky post ^^^ "How to pull codes" and then use the embedded link to get any definitions of codes found. Post it all here.

Look in Discussions - Cadillac Tech Tips (many pages of threads) on how to get to and replace the several door actuators.

Re: 99 Seville STS AC problem

You'll likely get better and more timely responses by posting in the Seville forum. This area is for the 2005 & up RWD & AWD STS which is quite different. In our cars, low freon affects the passenger cooling first. I can't say if the same is true on yours. I had a '98 but never had that issue.

    Re: 99 STS AC problem

Please do not start double threads on the same problem. Your other thread, posted in another incorrect forum, was enough to get the problem on the path to diagnosis. Let the thread work for you - it might take a bit of time - but the info will all be in the same place.

    Re: 99 STS AC problem

Have you pulled the DTC's as advised in Post #3?

    Probably a failed actuator.
