    2000 seville a/c compressor not working

    I have been getting a "service a/c" message. relays & fuses good, bypassed the pressure switch, still nothing, any suggestions?

    DO NOT bypass pressure switches. They are safety devices. It's telling you to "SERVICE A/C" for a reason. Pull the DTC's and you'll probably find a low refrigerant code. The PCM disables the compressor when the refrigerant gets low to prevent damage due to lack of lubricant that is carried through the system by the refrigerant.

    P.S.
    The codes must be cleared to enable the compressor before adding refrigerant.

    connect a set of AC gauges -
    and report back with BOTH
    the high pressure and low pressure readings -
